Abstract


Serviceability of certain structure is determined by deflection, crack and damage on surface of the concrete. Deflection allowance depends on total deflection that can be held by interacting structure components without losing elastic performance and damaging the deflected elements. This research aims to discover deflection characteristics and one-way cracking pattern of concrete wood with various thicknesses. concrete timber composite palate are created with dimension 6 x 30 x 100 cm , 5.5 x 30 x 100 cm and 5 x 30 x 100 cm. variation of timber thickness in this research can be identified as 1 cm, 1.5 cm and 2 cm with number of there are two pelate for each variation. The research shows the variation of timber thickness can reduce amount deflection which occur on composite concrete-timber pelate.
